Be Still & Know That I Am God

Edisto is just one of those places where "the quiet" is beautiful. Here is a picture that just feels quiet. If you are feeling overwhelmed with your child talking to you constantly or your schedule is really busy...take a minute to walk out to the end of this dock. You can imagine the lull of the water as it comes and goes with the tides and feel a coastal breeze. Every once in a while you might even have an egret land close enough for you to almost touch him/her. I am sharing this "reflection" with everyone because it has been a busy 2 weeks getting everyone back into a routine. Take a few minutes to sit down with God and just be quiet. I was so lucky to have the opportunity to really sit at the end of this dock and let my troubles fade away. This was just what the doctor ordered!!!!
