Happy Early Thanksgiving to everyone!  Today was our annual class feast and it was wonderful!  We had lots of fun in our classroom as we prepared for our parents to come back to dine with us and we even made some homemade butter.  We practiced our songs and did a tiny bit of work.  It was such an exciting day.  WE love seeing our preschool families and we love sharing God's love.  Everyone did a great job singing and tasting new things.  Thank you to our mom that made the wonderful dessert treats and to all of our families who helped to make this feast all come together.  What a special way to start our Thanksgiving holidays!  We pray that everyone travels safely and enjoys time with their families.

Cranberry Sauce?

Okay we are four (2 of us are already five) so cranberry sauce may be a little out of the realm of expectation.... but we all came together to prepare some for our feast next week.  Fresh cranberries, diced apples, apple juice and some sugar?  It looked tasty to us... but we'll see who is brave enough to taste it next week.

Looks Like A Feast....

The feast is coming.... and here we are showing off some of our work.  We have been working hard learning all about the Native Americans and the Pilgrims.  It is good to know that we all get along and work hard at being "bucket fillers."  I am pretty sure that is how it all came together to make the first Thanksgiving so wonderful.

We Are Thankful For Sunny Days!!!!

Yes, it has been sunny for a few days and our playground just started to dry out.  The temperature has been just right for playing outside and we LOVE it.  We have talked so much about being thankful.... but all of us agree that we are thankful for the sun!!!

Pilgrim Toys

Okay maybe it sounded kinda cool to be a Pilgrim and even kinda fun to go on the Mayflower... BUT after further exploration I think we agree that we are thankful that we don't have to live the Pilgrim lifestyle.  Here we are with a wooden "catch" game that could be similar to a Pilgrim toy.  Although it was fun for a few minutes... we like our modern toys much better.
