Sweet Summertime

Many thanks to all who made our preschool so successful this year.  It is very hard to say goodbye, but it is all a part of God's magnificent plan to grow these beautiful children into amazing adults.  It is always very humbling to watch Him work through each one them to make new friends and learn so many new things.  Our little class family is moving on to share His love with the new people we meet.  Blessings for a wonderful summer and an awesome new school year in August!

Time For Graduation

It finally happened!  We graduated!  I mean we really made it to the end of this preschool year and everyone is on their way to kindergarten.

It was an amazing day and we wish everyone the very best!  Happy Graduation to the Class of 2014!

Spring Program

Ready for the Spring Program with our cool new "Graduation" shirts.  We could hardly wait to get into the Sanctuary to sing....

The really hard part was WAITING for it to start....so we had a few minutes to watch the preschool DVD

And get our "wiggles" out before we got in that straight line to walk over to sing for our family & friends.

Here we are "hamming it up" for a few last pictures.  (We really do look like kindergartners don't we?)

End Of The Year Party...

It was our end of the year party.....(if you could hear me you would hear me crying....but if you could hear these children, you would hear laughing & screaming.)  It is one of the best days of the year because everyone is so ready for a break.  We had some fun with sack races & the "egg in the spoon" relay then it was lunch & treat time.

Many thanks to the parents who helped to make this day so awesome for our boys and girls.

I think you can tell by these pictures that we are soooooooooo happy that summer is here!

Class PIcnic Day

It was our class picnic day and everyone was so excited!  Our parent picnic with the class video - and on a rainy day...who could plan it any better?  Although I am still pretending that it is not time for Graduation, we got our memory books assembled and even got our Father's Day craft wrapped & ready to go...(PS - Your eyes do not deceive you... that is a "Peep" covered cross in the background.  No this is not something our class created, but was a church project on Easter that is still in their Narthex.  The Peeps are a little strange, but the colors are still very pretty.)

We came down the stairs & into the Sanctuary.  Yay for our parents!!!!  What a great day! Happy Picnic Day Class of 2014!

(Father's Day pictures .... sent home wrapped but here is a sneak peek.  The artwork is priceless and the commentary is even better - but that is for June!)

First A Chicken - Now A Puppy....

Yes - we had a puppy come to visit our classroom.  He is sooooooooooo cute!  (Did you get that?  He is sooooooooooooo cute!)  His name is Baxter and he stopped in to say Hi!  This little friend was super sweet and used his best manners.  Even though he is a puppy and doesn't really know all of the "people" rules, he just walked around and said hello to everyone.  Many thanks to our friend and her mom for bringing this little buy by our classroom!

Happy Mother's Day

Thank you mom!!!!  Yes we do love you and will not really understand what that all means until much later in life....but right now, just know that we love you.  Today we said that moms are good because they .... fix us lunch, give us kisses, wash our clothes, put us to bed, give us hugs, take care of us when we are sick, brings us to school, wakes us up with kisses.  So true and we all agreed that there is nothing like a hug from mom to make everything better!  Happy Mother's Day!!!!!

So Grown Up

It's true - we are "so grown up."  These 2 precious boys celebrated their 5 year old birthday today and this was their teacher when they were 2!!!!!!  I had to share this because they can hardly remember when they were downstairs.   See how much we grow in God's love at Pilgrim Community Preschool!

Smiles

A "smiley" day in our room.  I am totally ignoring the fact that we are only about 9 days away from graduation.  Look at these happy children....I am going to miss them!!!
