And The Countdown Begins....

So it isn't officially December yet.... BUT it starts on Saturday.  You read that right... Saturday... so that means it is the official count down to Christmas... and our boys and girls are ready for it to begin.  Above you see Mary & Joseph and a small light... this is our countdown to baby Jesus... and below you see the best helper for baby Jesus... Santa... and his countdown.  It's time for the excitement to begin... Ho, Ho, Ho... Here comes Christmas!

Brains At Work.... Germs At Work....

So proud of our class, although I didn't get many pictures,  for doing some crazy hard brain work!!!!  We read a book about a silly elephant named, Elmer, and did a letter review page that was supposed to be really hard.  Did you get the "supposed to be hard" part?  Well I was totally wrong about that!  This was a breeze for our smart cookies!!!!! And below you see a friend with her completely appropriate show & tell.... gloves and a mask.  Just a reminder that we are in that time of year when nasty germs try to make their way into our classroom.  We are doing our best to stay healthy by washing our hands and making sure we tissues to wipe our nose.  It's time to get our Christmas creativity flowing and we need our boys and girls to be healthy and well!

It's Beginning To Feel Alot Like Christmas

If it's chilly.... we are still crazy about playing outside!!!!  As long as the sun is shining and we have coats... we will go out to run and enjoy time with our friends.
….even if it isn't December yet... it's beginning to "feel" a lot like Christmas!

Turkey Update.... (After The Fact)

It was a short week before Thanksgiving but they did a super job with these fancy turkey tags they colored!  So hard to believe that Thanksgiving came and went so fast....moving on to holiday fun!

We Thank God For Our Families!

Happy Early Thanksgiving to everyone!!  It was a wonderful feast!

Our Feast

All of our hard work was done... and our the feast was ready!!!  Our art work was displayed and the tables were set.... so let the fun begin!!!

We were getting so excited... you can see our in our expressions that we are feeling kinda silly in our hats and vests...

Paper vests are not always the best thing to use .. because they have a tendency to go flying and cause spontaneous laughter... but our Pilgrims below.. are wearing their most serious faces... because this feast is no laughing matter.... (Ha!)
The time arrived and it was finally the moment we were waiting for.... THE FEAST!
It was actually cold enough to help get us in the true Mayflower experience... rainy, cloudy and chilly, chilly air.... we were so thankful that we were just walking over to the next very warm and cozy building.
