Happy Thursday!

It was a great Thursday in our classroom... We missed two friends so we sent them the pictures from above to tell them "hi."  We also had some matching glitter shoes.... AMAZING!!!
AND... We had a visit from Mr. Brushy...and Dr. Gee... (our dentist)  He talked to us about dental health and let us practice brushing Mr. Brushy's teeth.  Best Thursday Ever!!!

President's Day

Okay... These are the cutest Presidents ever!  And yes... they had some great ideas about how to lead the United States Of America.  You have to admit... there is a possibility that any of these faces... excluding me... could grow up to be our Commander In Chief.  (Because... teaching 12 four year olds is hard work... I cannot possibly imagine the responsibility of leading our Country.  Count me out any future in politics).   And to make our President's Day even better... a former student stopped in to help us in our classroom.  She was a great helper and the boys and girls LOVED having her with us...
SO... Take a minute to talk to these future leaders... a four year old can definitely grow up to be anything that they dream.... We just have to guide them on their way... and with Jesus in their heart... there is absolutely no way they can go wrong.

A Career Day....A Visit From An Engineer

Thank you SOOOO much to this awesome dad!  He used his day off from work to come teach us about his job as an engineer AND brought us a delicious lunch!!!! He is an engineer and came to teach us about how energy is created... YES you read that right!  He had an amazing activity to teach us about protons, neutrons and electrons.  I KNOW.... nuclear fission!!!! (See... this preschool is no joke when it comes to readiness!!!)  If you hop over to the preschool's FB page you can see a video of the mousetrap/ping pong ball demonstration.  Many thanks to this dad for spending his day with us.  We cannot thank you enough... and who knows how many children you inspired during your visit.  (Oh and that was NOT a ping pong ball that came home with your child... it was a neutron.)

Valentine's Fun

Such cuteness!!! Valentine's Day was a great day in our classroom.  We had a great time helping Mrs. Kelli give out our treats and cards and an even better time at our yummy party.  Many thanks to our parents who made this day so special for us!  We are such a sweet class family and we love each other very much.

Book Mobile Day!

Just a totally awesome visit from the Book Mobile.  We really love to pick out books and share them in our classroom.  Lexington Library Rocks!

Our First Visit From The Tooth Fairy

It is always happens around this time every year... just before we have our visit from the dentist... someone gets a visit from the TOOTH FAIRY!!!!!  Yes... you read that right!  The TOOTH FAIRY has made a visit to this sweet little girl.  So, please beware at your home.  We were sooo excited and could not wait to ask all kinds of questions... but I did take the time to remind everyone that wiggly teeth happen on God's time... not our time.  So that means... no one can make a not wiggly tooth wiggly before it is time.  Yay for this sweet little girl!  What an exciting day!
