We Are God's Quilt
Several weeks back we started making our quilts for the letter Q. This was a four step process which we finished last week when we talked about what it means to be "thankful." We looked at quilts along the way and saw that they were made up of different things and that long ago, these things were scraps of fabric that were pretty priceless because there were no stores to run to buy more. So here is our finished project. Each child has a four piece quilt and the back side is plain muslin. This can be used as a "memory" quilt for this Thanksgiving. Families can trace hands or write messages or just names - because Thanksgiving is for giving thanks.
