What Kind Of Day Is This?
Our boys and girls are so silly. I had to take a picture of our "check in" board today. If the way they look on this "check in" board is any indication of how they really felt - it was a silly, crazy day for us. They are so funny when they come in to "check in" each morning and they love to figure out new ways to put their "little person" in their pocket. They have no idea that this "check in" process is about to change. Next week we will be learning about the letter H and we will begin "checking in" with our home address. I know that it sounds really difficult, but they will learn it. We will make a new "check in" stick and practice saying our address. They will need to learn to recognize it, as well as, recite it. Part of our readiness for kindergarten includes learning home phone numbers, birthday, last name, initials and parent's names. These are all so important when we learn about stranger danger and getting lost or separated from parents. Should these situations occur, your child will be confident in what to do. As for now, these little people look they had a great day!
