This is our hand print cross for Lent. If you have been around our classroom in the past years, you will know this has become a sort of tradition. We make this on Ash Wednesday to mark the first of the 40 days of this church season and will use the next few weeks to cover it with love.

I must say I am quite impressed that Savi has proclaimed to "give up chocolate" until Jesus comes back. She is mindful of this when choosing her little daily "treats". I think this is a very "huge" concept for a four year old girl & I am very proud of her. Thank you for all your words of wisdom and encouragement each day to stay on track of the cross.
