Itty Bitty Bookworm

If you found a cute little smiley face on your child's finger, it was our bookworm. To help us celebrate Dr. Seuss day, we took some time to learn about how to take care of books. Did you know that reading a book helps your brain grow? It really does... much more than watching TV or playing video games. Our little bookworms were fun to play with, but even more fun to read with. (Please know that we spent a lot of time talking about NOT drawing on your body and that this little guy was a special guest just for today. It isn't every day that your teacher draws on your finger - it was "tickly" and caused some spontaneous giggling. Your little smiley face should wash off just fine in a soapy bath.)
