The 100th Day

 It was our 100th day of preschool!!!!  Boy were we crazy with excitement.  (If you came inside for afternoon carpool you could feel it in the air.)  You can barely see our counting caterpillar stretched along the fence - but there it is ... all 100 rings.  The children were so funny!  They just knew this caterpillar was going to stretch around the whole playground...but when we actually measured - it didn't even make 1/4 of the way around.  (Funny how estimation actually works.  We made several estimates about the picnic table and slide but missed the boat on the fence.)

 

 

 

 

 We made our 100th day hats and enjoyed some 100 day snack mix.  (Which, I am very proud to say, we knew had way more than 100 pieces because everyone brought 100 of their assigned treat.)  All in all - it was a crazy fun day, but, much to the children's surprise it was not our last day of school.  They all were so funny asking if it was our last day because it was 100 days since school started.  I don't, however, think they were that disappointed when they remembered that class Easter egg hunt is next week.  Happy 100th day!!!!
