Konnichi wa

Today was our very first "Japanese" class.  We welcomed our new teacher and had fun with our introduction to Japanese.  I think that it is so exciting to teach children about other cultures and it is true that we live in a "big world."  Learning about others makes us grow into better people and cultivates so many new interests, even if you are only 4 or 5 years old.  The children were so cute and did a great job listening.  I can't wait to see how much they learn over the next few weeks and wonder exactly what your children told you about this first class.  There were some instruction sheets attached to your child's bag and we will do our best with pronunciation.  There are lots of fun events planned in the next months to reinforce your child's learning.  Watch your newsletters for information and feel free to stop in during one of our next classes if you are interested.
