Our Space Collage

Here was our big art project for the week - our view of the cosmos.  We worked on this for the entire week, starting with our star bursts and shiny sun.  Each child made their very own planet and gave it a "scientific" name.  There was painting, coloring, cutting, gluing and "stickering."  I always love this art project because each collage turns out to be so beautiful.  The coffee filter planets are my favorites and this year they turned out so colorful.  This collection is displayed outside of our room and if you have time this week, stop in to take a look.  I believe that God was in awe as everything came together for Him and these inspire you to stop and think about the beauty of everything that surrounds us - starting in the darkness of space.
