Fun With Aliens

This week we are learning about the letter A and finishing our unit on space.  As you can see, we learned that "alien" starts with the letter A and he isn't quite as scary as you think.  This little guy stopped in to say "hi" and his name is "Pidge."  Now even though we know that aliens may or may not be real - the idea can be a little scary to our boys and girls - so Pidge just wanted everyone to know that he is really friendly.  We read a very funny book called Aliens Love Underpants by Clare Freedman.  The children loved this silly book and had fun making these alien headbands.  Did you know that aliens LOVE to play on the playground?  Of course not, but here are our little aliens having a great day enjoying God's beautiful creation.  It was a wonderful day on the playground and there were many giggles as we ran around wearing our silly antennas.  We did a lot of running, climbing and even stopped for a minute to make a silly face.  Happy Alien Day for the letter A!
