During afternoon car pool the children love to look at books and read together. This is my favorite time of day. (Not because the children are being dismissed - but because they are gathering books and "reading" to each other.) Although it is very chaotic with numbers being called and movement in our room, the children look forward to reading and working together. You can see from the pictures that they love books and this is a wonderful thing. We always say that "reading makes your brain grow." It is obvious in our room that there is lots of reading going on at home. Thank you parents for being such good teachers at home.
