Fall Learning & Art

Here are some of our most recent learning and art projects.  We made some really cute Jack O' Lantern faces with paint and shapes.  It was a truly creative process because we started by painting our pumpkin shape and each one is completely different.  These little faces are so funny and look like they should be saying "trick or treat" every time we walk by.  We LOVE that Halloween is just around the corner. (And we say this many times throughout the day.)

We also made this fun little book about Fall Favorites.  I'm pretty sure that each project that we do is "my favorite", but I love to see each child's art.  This little book is a fold out that will be coming home on Thursday.  They are so proud of these and will surely want to show them off.
Our final little paper is one of many that you will find in your child's folder.  We are working hard on numbers and counting.  This was super easy and fun because we used our number stampers.  The children love it when they get to use these.  We are having a little difficulty writing our numbers independently so these activities build confidence and awareness of what we need to do to move on to our kindergarten skills.
