It was an exciting day for the four year old classes! We had a visit from Sinterklaas. Since we have been learning how friends around the world celebrate Christmas, we learned about traditions in the Netherlands and surprise... we left our shoes outside and a treat appeared. You can see us in our sock feet as we practice for the program, all of us filled with excitement. We made some pretend wooden shoes, complete with hay for the horse that Sinterklaas rides.
Of course we didn't open these little goodie bags and had to wait until after school, but what fun it was!!!! Santa can look a little different but still spread the same time of cheer. Children all around the world can have the same fun that we do! Thank you Sinterklaas!
