Sharing God's Love

 Our little four year old class is reaching out to share God's love with friends in India.  We made a card and gathered some sweet treats and stickers to send with a class parent who is making the journey to India to share God's love with the children there.  Many thanks to Ms. Amanda for visiting our classroom and leading us in a blessing and prayer over these treats.  We sure hope these tiny tokens brighten the days of those they reach.  God is so good!  Our prayers are with this family as they make this journey!

I is for ICE CREAM!!!

 An ice cream taste test was the perfect way to practice our letter I sound!!! (And a tasty one too.) "I scream, you scream... we all scream for ice cream....vanilla, chocolate and strawberry...".  Our class favorite this year.. vanilla.

Getting To Know Each Other

 Even though we had a short week... we managed to have LOTS of fun getting to know each other. And yes.... we enjoyed the sun after Irma gave us the nourishing rain we needed.  Happy First Week of School!

Making Playdoh

 So for those of you who doubt the recipe.... I took pictures this year of the process and yes those simple ingredients really do make playdoh.  It starts out as the dry ingredients...then you add the oil and start cooking...and stirring and stirring and really STIRRING!  (I suggest a wooden spoon for this part.)

 Voila!!! Playdoh.  You can add any color of food coloring and during the holidays you can add pumpkin spice or peppermint.  Playdoh is so good for developing hand strength and imaginary play.

Our First Week

It was an amazing first week of preschool!!!!  We made new friends and had so much fun getting to know how this classroom works.  You can see us working hard and our awesome art projects.  God has put together the perfect classroom family!

What An Awesome First Day

 Wow!!!! What an awesome first day!!!!  Mrs. Kelli & I were super excited to get this year started and had everything ready for our boys and girls.

We placed the center tags were in the hall...

And then it happened..... we all arrived and got things in order speedy quick....bags on hooks and lunch boxes on the shelf....

We came into the classroom with the biggest smiles and did a great job starting this four year old preschool year.  We introduced ourselves and took a tour around the campus and, of course, had a yummy snack.  We played on the playground and even found some time to do a little bit of work.  and yes... We read ONE of my favorite Pete the Cat books.... (because I LOVE them all.)

 Thank you parents and children for a super, fabulous, awesome, exciting first day.  This year is going to the BEST!!!

Welcome!

 It's almost here and we can hardly wait!!!!!  Back to School 2017 and it is going to be an awesome year!!!  We've been working hard in our classroom getting it ready for this new group of boys and girls.
