Silly Socks & More

We had fun with Dr. Seuss all week... Even Senora Kathy helped us learn about him during Spanish.  It was really fun to have silly sock day... and have class time without our shoes.  (now that's really silly.)  Mrs. Kelli was super brave and took the Fox In Socks challenge.  It is a great book but has so many rhyming nonsense words that it takes a professional to read it.  Mrs. Kelli did an awesome job.

Snack time even had some silly Seuss fun...

including Cat In The Hat treats and Truffula trees...

We also continued to have fun in our classroom ...just because it's raining again doesn't mean that our classroom has to be dreary too.

With all of this activity...we somehow learned a lot too!  (Because.... we actually learn through our play and the children have no idea!!!)  This class has done an amazing job practicing fine motor skills with letter writing practice and reading beginner sight words.

You just never know what might happen in your classroom...I'm pretty sure this friend, pictured below, has a future as an artist!  This is his very own drawing and we are so proud of him!!!
