Health & Fitness

It was another super fun week in our classroom as we learned about health & fitness.  Look at this amazing body God made for each of us.  There are bones, muscles, veins, organs, skin... everything including our heart and brain. 

 

 

 

We had lots of fun talking about the really cool things our bodies do and made this heart paper heart with a balloon teach us our heart pumps blood & oxygen all over our body.

 

 

We also revisited dental health and actually laced up a special tooth pocket for our first visit from the tooth fairy.  As you can see... this took A LOT of concentration. We all took our time and took these home for that special day when we lose our first tooth.  We can slip it in here for safe keeping and the tooth fairy will know just where to find our tooth.  And of course we used our brains and healthy bodies to work & play both inside and outside our classroom.  We even played "letter Bingo."

 

 

 And even though it was wet outside... we lined and up and took a heart healthy walk around our preschool...

 We thought about making an "ark" to use on the playground....

 but the some came out and we got some time outside to run & play!
