In Case You Missed It.... Today Was SPRING FLING!

 

Today was the big day..... Spring Fling!  We were all ready and excited... but a little worried about the weather. (As you can see above.)  BUT.... God is so totally awesome... that He kept the sun out all day for us!!!

Happy days in our classroom... learning and having a great time.  I think we know it is the end of the year, but we don't really know what that means.  We are absolutely ready for summer vacation but not ready to not see our friends every day.  We are doing our own writing and pushing harder on those "big kid skills" we know we need to jump into kindergarten with both feet.  Happy Days!!!

Barns & Farms

 

 

 

Hopefully you  found the super cool barn folder we made this week in your child's bag.  We had a lot of fun with this.... talking about the important job a farmer has and how we need farms to have food every day.  I think our favorite farm animal is a cow.... because that is how we get tasty ice cream.  YUM!!!

Still Hard At Work... And Loving It

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After all of the fun last week with our graduation pictures and talking about going to big school.... we got back to work in our classroom learning and playing.  As you can see we did some super hard table work with the tricky letters b, d, p, & q and practiced our numbers 6-10.  These boys and girls are helping their brains grow in all kinds of ways.  It is good to be in preschool and keeping our brains on track... because August will be here before any of us know it.

He's Alive and We're So Glad About It!!!

Another art project.... again my favorite.... But these are our paintings of Jesus!  We left for Spring Break preparing our hearts for the saddest part of the Easter story and returned to celebrate His resurrection.  Each painting is 100% child created and perfect!  None of us have ever really seen Jesus so how could any one of them be wrong.  Thank You God for Jesus!  We Are So Glad He Is Alive!!!

Looking Into The Future

 

Not to alarm anyone... but it is almost that time!!!  The time of year that we all look forward to but can't understand the happy tears that come with it.... GRADUATION!!!  It was our cap and gown picture day.... and we did a great job showing our patience....  These little feet could hardly wait to put on that itchy cap and gown.... a sign of change coming... and growing up. 

 

It was so much fun taking a few minutes in the Sanctuary to talk about the last few weeks of school and giggle about the thought of kindergarten.  It is always so inspiring to hear these children talk about the future with so much excitement....(really how us adults should talk about it but can't because we are ADULTS...) 

 We did a really good job posing for the photographer and loved every minute of "taking a peek into the future.'

 

Don't be too sad though.... we still have until May 27 to learn and grow and have fun!!!
