Go Tigers!!!
Yes Jesus loves all of His little children... orange, garnet or crimson... so we had to give a shout out to our home team in the big playoff game tonight. I will admit that neither is my favorite but I support any team that represents our state. Since school started. we have spent so much time talking about being "bucket fillers" ... it was important to fill everyone's bucket with a cheer for the Clemson Tigers.... although they might not be our favorite... there is nothing wrong with wishing them well. Later this week we will talk about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and how he worked tirelessly to have everyone come together... so orange, garnet or crimson... God made us out of His love and He expects us to love one another!!!
Happy New Year!!!
We're Back!!!! And we were so HAPPY to be back! We jumped back into our routine as if we had not missed one day. We did some Epiphany math....
some "clock" work for New Year's....
And generally had a blast seeing our friends again!!!
This teacher is in 100% denial that 2016 has kindergarten in the future for these sweet angels. Yes they are ready and will make the transition with no problem... but I am not ready, These boys and girls are so precious and sweet and it will not be easy to let them go! It is a Happy New Year because growing up is what we are all about!!!

Polar Express Pajama Day
It was a magical day at the preschool .... our last day before the Christmas holidays... and it was "Polar Express Pajama Day." Who cares if it was a little rainy? We didn't mind one bit because we were boarding the Polar Express for a journey to the North Pole. (Complete with chocolate milk.... the hot chocolate thing gets a little crazy sometimes.) We loved listening to Mrs. Cary read the book and we loved pretending that we were on our way to the North Pole... to see Santa!!!!!
Classroom Fun
Rudolph, the Elf, was busy during the weeks of December hiding in crazy places in our classroom.... (Even in the gumball machine we use to help us count to 100.) We have been pretty confident that the reports to Santa have been A+ because we have been working really hard.
A friend, wearing her totally precious "Mrs. Claus" dress...
Doing our very best at cleaning up....
Showing our best behavior to get to "the stars" and reading books together....
PLUS dancing to a crazy show & tell from a friend!!!! It had lots of fun Christmas things to act out.
WE LOVE Christmas in our classroom!!!!

Our Christmas Program
What a wonderful night? We did such an amazing job with our Christmas program... I mean that whole thing is terrifying, but our boys and girls let their lights shine!!!! We said our prayers to do our best and I hope everyone enjoyed every minute of our singing and best "standing still" behavior. An Early Merry Christmas to you all... but don't forget that we do have one more week of school.
