Walking To Easter

We celebrated Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday... I know those are weird names, but in the Lutheran Church, they mark important days for the church season.  What it really means is we are in the 40 days that lead us to the super sad part of Jesus' life and the super happy part of our life! (Jesus LIVES in our hearts all of the time.)  So here is our handprint cross.  It looked really dark... but each Monday we will add some colorful hearts to remind us that Jesus escapes the cross on Easter.  We don't spend a lot of time talking about the very awful parts of Jesus' crucifixion because we are so young... we just remember that He did a very brave thing so our hearts are washed new when we do some not so good things.   Thank you Jesus for loving us no matter what we do!!!
