Meet Mincy

With the arrival of December, we had a fun friend arrive in our classroom.  He is a special classroom elf that has the same important job as all of the other elves in our homes.  He watches over us and reports back to Santa every night.  Only our little elf remembers that we are all God's children and sometimes need some extra chances with our behavior.  So he might remind us during the day that God loves us no matter what choices we make, we just sometimes need to learn new ways to do things.

Anyway, this little friend needed a name.  So we used our democratic process to make nominations for names and then voted.  I love all of the suggestions, but Mincy was our winner.  So if you have heard your child mention our little elf friend, he is really in our classroom.  Welcome Mincy and Happy Christmas season!
