Our Pumpkins

Here are our pumpkin friends. They are fresh from the patch outside, but we love them so! We will use them next week to measure, weigh, etc...(you know to make our scientific observations.) The boys and girls in the class even want to line them up from smallest to biggest and see if the line of pumpkins is longer than our counting caterpillar. (Aren't they smart for thinking up this big question all on their own?) Here we are showing off our first big find of Fall. (You will see a new friend in our pictures. She joined our class on Monday and everyone is so excited! We knew that she was coming and couldn't wait for her to actually come to our room - so her arrival plus the pumpkins made this an extra special week!)
