Many thanks to one of our moms who donated a pumpkin to our class. We have enjoyed examining it during our unit on pumpkins. It is really heavy - as many of us discovered when we tried to pick it up. Today, we took the plunge and decorated it. The children voted and decided that it looked like a girl pumpkin - so one friend suggested the name "Jackqueleen." Here she is with crazy glasses and a super funny mouth. (We decided not to carve her because that can be a little bit scary to some friends.) She is a funny friend and we can't wait for Princess to meet her.

Meet "Jackqueleen"
