A Taste Of Japan
Finally our "sushi day" got here!!!! We have been learning Japanese words for all kinds of foods and preparing for our "Taste of Japan" with Bonnie San. You can see from the question above that not everyone was convinced this was a good idea, but below you will see the smiles that came from trying something new!

We worked in pairs to prepare the sushi and then we tasted it!!! And YUM - we really like it!!!! Trying something new was not scary or bad because we had prepared for it for several weeks. (Plus Bonnie San also had some other tasty treats to share with us - like Japanese cookie sticks and gummi candies.)
Many thanks to Bonnie San and to our parents who worked to make this day so much fun! We could not have done it without your help. Arrigato!!!!
