Almost Spring Break.....

It is now beyond an official diagnosis of spring fever....we are soooo ready for spring break. (teachers included....)   Even with the yellow haze of pollen blowing all around us, we cannot be outside long enough.  The halls are loud and you can almost feel them vibrating with the buzz of the bees showing up outside as trees and flowers begin to bloom.  We are on a serious countdown to a week of playing outside in warm sunshine.  Thank you God for your beautiful creation!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bluebirds Of Happiness

 

 

One other spring art project - our bluebird paintings.  They are so cute and keep our hallway chirping with happy thoughts.  The children did a wonderful job with this painting project and have had fun listening to the birds chirp us into spring.

Happy Spring!

This is just a fun art project we did to welcome spring.  We had fun with dandelions and used some dots to make a cute little painting.  Of course the best part of a real dandelion is blowing all of the seeds away and making a wish!  The hard part is keeping the wish a secret....It is a joy to have these beautiful days and seeing green sprouts everywhere.  Thank you God for this wonderful season of the year.

So if you haven't felt a tear yet - these pictures will definitely get you!   It was our graduation picture day and we had so much fun wearing our caps and gowns.  Well I use the word "fun" rather loosely because it was fun until the hats started to itch.... Anyway these boys and girls are so ready to for big school and putting these special things on just made it that much more exciting.  Don't panic, we do still have a little time left in our school year but graduation will be here before you know it. 

Spring Picture Day

 Okay - so it wasn't "silly face" picture day, but I just had to let them have a moment of fun.  (You know there is a lot of pressure associated with picture day because your smile has to be just right.)   

 

 

 

We were totally cute and had a great day!  Spring pictures are done and now we are ready for our graduation picture day!!!   Yes I did say graduation pictures....with the cap and gown.... I cannot believe that we are so close to the end of the year.  Stay tuned for a peek at this pictures too.

Leprechaun Magic

 

 

 

 

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!  It was a magical, silly kind of day in our classroom.  There was leprechaun activity all around us and we had so much fun!  We even got to go on a leprechaun hunt....

 

 There were tiny green foot prints all over the place and LOTS of gold glitter...

 

 

 And guess what we found!!!! A rainbow and a pot of gold....Well golden Rolo candy!!!!

 

 and just when we thought the magic was over....he must have been sneaky enough to get back in our classroom and leave us these shiny chocolate coins....
