Spookley's Pumpkin Patch

 This is Spookley.  He is a square pumpkin and he is pretty cool.  We read this book yesterday and had a little bit of fun making our own crazy shape pumpkins.  Now we all know that most pumpkins are orange, round, tall, short, bumpy, smooth, etc.... But this little book teaches us that no matter what we look like -  we are all important.  I won't spoil the book but if you read it, you will learn that Spookley had a super important job.  You will also learn that all of the other round pumpkins appreciated Spookley very much. (even though he looked a little weird.)   Take a trip to the bookstore or library to see what happens....(yes there is a movie version of this book but I think reading it is the best.)  You can see our crazy pumpkin patch as you come up the stairs.  We love you Spookley!!!!
