Making Friendship Cake

 

 

 

 

 

Today we made friendship cake...what's that, you ask?  A cake that we make separately and then put all together.  If you see the pictures, you can see how hard we worked to make it just right.  This cake was a big deal for all of us because we never made a cake before - so here is how you do it.  Each of us got a cup of cake mix, we added a drop of food coloring and mixed it up, then we dumped them in the dish and swirled it all together.  Woo Hoo!!!!  It is so cool with all the crazy colors.  Now I don't have a picture of the finished product but I know your child eagerly got this out as you walked in the door.  It was topped with yummy vanilla frosting and about a million rainbow sprinkles.  We think this is how God put us together in our little classroom.  He made us each super special then just put us in this little class family and swirled us all together to be friends in our very own class family.  The sprinkles are all of the cool things that we do together to grow in His love.
