Facing Sadness

This class blog is such a joyful place for me to share the awesome things that happen with your children.  We see so clearly how God is at work among us and how blessed we are with His love and forgiveness.  However, in the wake of the horrible tragedy with a local family, I am sharing information about an upcoming prayer service.  I did not personally know this family, but have found myself grieving for this horrible loss in our community.  It is hard to accept that this happened in our community and so difficult to process.  Red Bank Baptist Church, in cooperation with Red Bank United Methodist Church & St. James Lutheran Church, is hosting a prayer service for this family on Monday evening.  This will be a time for families to come together to remember those that were lost.  I also believe it will be an opportunity to just be together in this time of sadness & confusion.  If you are interested in attending, the service will begin at 8:00 pm and the church is located at 1357 South Lake Drive in the Red Bank Community.  In the meantime, love your children and those that are around you.  Keep a watchful eye on those that might need a caring hand and reach out with a helping hand.  There are no words to describe the loss of child, even one that we may not have known.  Keep them in your prayers.
