Love Is In The Air

Love is in the air today as we celebrate Valentine's Day!  The children have been working hard getting things ready for our Valentine exchange and can't wait to share their cards & treats.  We made a heart wreath with a pattern and even did a little bit of math with our love bugs.  Our little Valentine pockets will be overflowing with treats at the end of the day.  Please note that we have done "a lot" of talking about when to explore these little packets of love and the children understand that they need to wait until they get home.  (This way they won't lose anything in the classroom or in the car.)

 Below you see our cuties making hearts with their hands to share God's love with the world.  And below that we are sharing our beautiful smiles.  Every year this holiday makes me sing one of my favorite Bible school songs..."we love...because God first loved us...we love...because God first loved us...we love...we love....we love...because...God...first...loved us!"  Thank you God for loving us all of the time.  Have a Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
