On Thursday, we learned about Epiphany and the gifts brought to Baby Jesus by the
wise men. We saw some pictures of frankincense,
myrrh & gold...but only knew about gold. (And we were pretty confident that the gold item was a beautiful golden crown.) Things in Bible times sure were weird because no one even brought the little Baby Jesus a toy. We also spent some time talking about the types of gift we would share with this tiny King. (Look for this in a class book this week.) Epiphany marks the end of the 12 days and is the official end of the Christmas season. Here is a little art project we created to remind us of the journey of the
wise men and the beauty of the marvelous Christmas star.
