Even though the weather is a bit cooler, the playground is still the best place to be. As you know from the "Christmas energy" in your home - our preschool class is abuzz with the anticipation of Christmas. We are full of fun news about letters to Santa and Christmas trees, that it is almost impossible to have any focus time to practice letters and numbers. This being said, today was a great day for playing outside. With the coming chance of rain, we took a few extra minutes today to breathe in some fresh air and work out some wiggly energy.
As we have grown since the beginning of school, many of us are working the monkey bars. It is exciting to the see the children show off their new skills. Sometimes it is just making it one bar, but there are many of us who can go all the way across. We are so proud of everyone who is growing and trying new things.
This crew just couldn't get it together for one picture. There are several attempts but each time the composition changed and a new friend came or went. They were having so much fun and yelling "take our picture." Isn't friendship great?
