What Is A "Bucket Filler"?

 So before we were interrupted by Hurricane Florence, our class learned what it means to be a "bucket filler".  There is a wonderful book, Have You Filled A Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud and we use it in our preschool to help us understand how to be a good friend.  After we read the book and talked about it, we made these totally adorable buckets as one of our first art projects. They are displayed as you come up the stairs to our classroom.  You will probably hear this term a lot during our year together. We all do our best to fill each other's buckets, but know that even when we mess up, God fills our buckets right back by forgiving us and helping us start over.
