Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins

It was all about pumpkins this week!  I am sure you have found all of our hard work in your child's folder, but you can see here that we had even more fun in our classroom.  We read about "Spookley" and had those super cute cookies for snack.  We also had our first "test" and everyone did totally awesome!!!  (okay it wasn't a real test, but we did learn about how a pumpkin grows and later figured all out all the steps and glue them down in order... - so it was sort of a test....)We also did a super hard math paper with missing numbers and made some yummy pumpkin muffins too.  The recipe came home in your child's folder and, as you can see, everybody helped make them.  This is one of those cooking projects that surprises the children because they think they don't like pumpkin because it really does not smell very tasty.  After we mix it up and bake it...surprise!  It does taste good.  It was a perfect kind of pumpkin week and we LOVED it!
