November - Really?

Is it really November?  I just cannot believe it, where has the time gone?  It seems like every year moves faster and faster, but no matter what we do, time marches on.  Today we introduced the idea of the first Thanksgiving and Pilgrims and Native Americans.  We took a few minutes to make this cute little decoration for the door that coincides with our class feast at the end of the month.  You'll have to wait and see what your child decided to be.  But we also spent time on the playground enjoying some cooler weather fun.  I just had to share a picture of our first "leaf pile."  It was an arduous process to find this many leaves on our playground, but these sweet children did it.  There was no "jumping" allowed - these leaves were just too precious and were for observation only.
