As we prepare for spring break, we have been learning the Easter story. (Our Spring break happens to be Holy Week.)   I must start by saying that we acknowledge that this is the saddest part of the whole Bible and that we always start this story with the Good News of Easter morning.... JESUS COMES BACK ALIVE! (That is a direct quote from the boys & girls in our class).  We made this little book to help us tell the Easter story in a not "so scary" way.  I wanted to share some of the art work completed by our children.  (Each little book will come home tomorrow.)  They are so excited about this and can't wait to bring it home.  I think my favorite part of this process this year is the page about the tomb, not one of the 15 children in our class colored it the same way.  Jesus moves through the little book to take us to the Good News of Easter morning!  I hope you enjoy this little art project as much as we did!
