Thursday's Folder

 

 We had an "incredible" week learning about the letter I.  It was only 3 days due to our holiday on Monday, but we managed to fill our days with lots of learning.  You will find your child's work in their folder.  Please use these materials to enhance your child's learning at home.  Many children LOVE to play school so it is a good idea to encourage them to work with their school papers.  The two little readers pictured below were used to introduce letter tracing and to work on letter proportion and coloring.  We were SO PROUD of these little books and could not wait to bring them home to show off our new "reading" skills.  (Yes I know these are only from memory...but that is how it all starts.)  When your child reads with you at home, have them identify the picture clue and look for letters that they know.  You can also use your finger to help them follow the words and spell the words as you go.  Happy Reading!!!!!
