Just Working

 It is only our fifth day of school, so things are still coming together, but here we are working!  I was so proud of everyone.  Our classroom has structured and unstructured components to the schedule.  We do some work all together then break into play & work centers.  This means that some of us are working while others are playing.  It sounds confusing, but the children learn to follow this routine and often watch the work tables to remind Mrs. Laurie or myself that they have not done the "table work."  This year's class is no exception.  Today was our first "real" day of following a daily schedule.  Last week we spent a lot of time reviewing rules and learning how to feel comfortable in our classroom.  I love these little faces.  They all took their time to do the best job on the work!
