Christmas is in full swing and we are learning that it happens all over the world in different ways.... some children leave out stockings... some children leave out shoes. Here you see that we had some luck with our shoes … and had a visit from Sinterklaas… from Holland. He sure must have been moving fast to get to our preschool and leave us some goodies in our paper shoes. You can see we left our real shoes too... but thought it might be best to leave a place that might not smell so stinky... just in case Sinterklass got over this way.
We were so totally excited that while we were at chapel we heard some sleigh bells and when we got back to our classroom, there were goodies in the hall. How cool.... Christmas is different, but sort of the same no matter where you go. Thank you Sinterklass for coming to America to teach us about your Christmas tradition.
