We had such a fun day on Thursday. It was nice to have lunch on Tuesday and our sweet treat as part of lunch on Thursday. (Sometimes a big party is just too much) The children were crazy with excitement, but our room was actually very good. We finished our valentine cards for our parents and did a fun math activity with conversation hearts. We were most anxious for the valentine delivery and hated that we had to wait to open our heart covered boxes until mom or dad gave permission.
These parent valentines are my favorite. The children cut out their own faces and made their own hair. They also wrote "I Love You." The envelope contains hands attached to yarn that should "accurately" represent their arm length at this age. (For hugs when everyone grows up.)
