We Love Our Librarian

It was a rainy Monday... AGAIN... but that was no problem for us.  We had a really fun visit from our librarian and we LOVED it.  She brought some great books and sang some really fun songs.  Thank you so much to our librarian for bringing books to life!

Celebrating President's Day

 

 

So when you are in preschool the thought of being President isn't that scary...the rules would be pretty simple... like... "no being mean" or "keeping animals safe."  Here is our art work to honor President's day and some pretty cute pictures below of our preschool Presidents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You just never know.... one of these children could grow up to be a Representative, Senator, Governor or President!

P is for Palmetto

Here is a really cool art project ... it is the Palmetto flag for the state of South Carolina.  The children did an amazing job painting their tree and moon.

The Dry Erase Boards Are Still Awesome

 

 

 

Look at these smarties!!!  Drawing shapes, pictures and writing WORDS on our dry erase boards!!!  I am so proud of them!!!  Kindergarten will be a breeze for these smart cookies... but we're not letting them go until graduation in May!

Fun With Pizza

We had some fun with the letter "P" last week by making personal pepperoni pizzas!!!!  This was pretty cool because this is something we could actually help make at home... AND....

 

 

 

 they tasted DELICIOUS!!!!

We helped prepare them and baked them while we having some rainy day fun in the gym.  THEN....

 

 

we ate them all up for snack!  Learning about letters at the preschool is really fun and tasty!!!

A Visit From The Dental Hygienist & Mr. Bananas

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is dental health month and we got a special visit from Mr. Bananas!!!!  He brought along his special helper, the dental hygienist and taught us all about taking care of our teeth.  We learned about brushing and flossing and even got to help Mr. Bananas brush his teeth.  Thank you so much Palmetto Smiles for helping us learn how to be big kids and take care of our teeth.

Happy Valentine's Day!

 Yep.... it's Valentine's Day... and we were totally ready.  You can see our mail bags ready for the delivery of sweet cards and treats.

 

 We had so much fun playing mail man and hand delivering each card with Mrs. Kelli.

 

AND couldn't wait to see all of the goodies that were shared by our friends.

 

 

 

What a wonderful day filled with love and friendship.  These precious boys and girls are such bucket fillers and really do love each other.  They makes me think of a song from my church...."change my heart oh God.  Make it ever true.  Change my heart oh God.  May I be like You."  And honestly kindness and love abounds in this little classroom...Thank you God for these beautiful boys and girls.

 AND.....to make it the best day ever... we ALL went to "flag" level.  This is beyond "above the stars."  A party day with lots of fun and treats and still amazing work and behavior.

 

 

 

Woo Hoo!!!  K is for kindergarten... and we are on our way!!!!
