Our Space Collage

During our space week, we worked on these beautiful collage art projects.  We used paint to create beautiful stars, special moon paste to make our paper moons, tissue paper to make the bright sun and  coffee filters to create our very own amazing planets.  And don't forget our crazy astronauts!  These are displayed just outside our classroom door.  

Mother Goose Presents "Little Red Riding Hood"

 Mother Goose stopped by for her February presentation and this week our boys and girls participated in a play based on "Little Red Riding Hood."  It really is so much fun to watch our boys and girls take that brave step to participate in the play and also so much fun to watch our classmates support them!!!  WE LOVE Mother Goose and her amazing presentation of classic fairy tales!

Happy Chinese New Year!

 We celebrated Chinese New Year with this good luck dragons!!!!  They are so colorful and bright and can scare away all bad luck!  We even had a totally crazy dragon parade.  We had lots of fun learning about our Chinese zodiac and celebrated 2019 as the year of the pig.  Gung Hay Fat Choy!

I LOVE Early Release!!

 Seeing former students always gives me the biggest smile and fills my heart!!!!  These sweet children stopped by last week to say hello and to make my day extra special.  Our friend in the top picture read us a book... and he wasn't even scared.  Our boys and girls were totally amazed.  Thank you sooooo much to the parents who took the time to stop by our preschool!!!
