Out Of This World

Just a flashback to space week and our wonderful artistic work... We made a beautiful space collage with an astronaut and little rocket to take us to see what could really be floating around out there in space.  These will come home soon and they deserve a special display at home.  We did our very, very best work on this!!!

Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!!!

 

 

 

 

 

All of this rain doesn't get us down.... we have discovered so many new ways to play with things in our class room... new Lego creations, new block towers and cities and fun games to play with each other.  I think the best part of this rainy day madness is all of our crazy rain gear... especially our super cool rain boots.

President's Day

 

 

Just a quick shout out to these boys and girls for some awesome work!!!  We celebrated President's Day and did a whole bunch of talking about what it really means to be elected to this important job.  Children are so much smarter than most give them credit for.... because the biggest question was about why so many people want to be President now and why do they say much stuff about each other.... hum???? They really are super smart aren't they?  We did this totally cute are project and even wrote the word "President" all by our self!!!! 

Valentine's Sweetness

 

What a super sweet day?  Since we have a day off tomorrow, we celebrated Valentine's Day a little early.  Mrs. Kelli helped us deliver our treats for our classmates...

 we made some super special art work for our mom and dad...

 we made a valentine memory book...

 

 and generally went a little crazy with all of the treats in our bags.  One friend even had rocket treats to match his rocket shirt!!!!

We had a very sweet lunch...

 

 

 and our sweet boys escorted our girls into the classroom.  They even gave each one of our beautiful young ladies a chocolate rose.

 

 

 

 

 Our gentlemen escorted us right to the table and even helped us with our chairs.  It was a totally sweet lunch with some fancy treats to eat.  Thank you to the parents who helped to make this day so special.  Happy Valentine's Day!

Yes!!!! We Can Read!!!!

In case you didn't know.... we can read!!!  Oh yeah!!!  Who says preschoolers aren't smart?  This little group of boys and girls did their best and read this little book independently.  They did their best coloring work and were not surprised at all that they can read.  Woo Hoo!!  Kindergarten here we come!!

We Love The Book Mobile

We love it when the book mobile stops by our preschool!!!  There is nothing more exciting than new books!!! Thank you Lexington Library for sharing so many fun new books with us.

Special Guest Teacher

We had a super special guest teacher!!!  This young lady was a former student of mine and is now in middle school. (I won't say how many years ago.)  She came to help us in our classroom and we are so happy she did!!! She helped us with a special art project and read us a super cool book.  (And!!!! She is a teenager.....That is the coolest part of all!!!)  Thank you friend for spending your day with us.
