What starts with D? Well - diamond of course. All of the girls in our class knew this one right away. Here are some pictures to fast forward about 20 years ...D is for Diamond - they are a girl's best friend. These were just too precious not to share; I think the expressions are priceless.
Precious pictures of the "presentation of the diamond" but more importantly, "the promise"... Great expressions on everyone! Thank you for showing us a glimpse of what we miss each morning! How FUN! And yes, some men still get down on their knees and ask their lady for their hand in marriage:) Better yet: Some men STILL ask the FATHER permission to ask his daughter's hand in marriage....
